Biography

Ann Doyle Taylor was born on Feb. 12, 1797 in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. She is first found in the 1850 census of Fannett Twp., Franklin Co., Pa with her married daughter, Mary A. Ferguson's family. In 1860, she was 65 years old and again listed with her daughter's family in Dry Run, Franklin Co, Pa. By 1870, she is listed at age 74 with the William Doyle family in Akron, Ohio. She is living (again with William) in Akron in 1880 at age 85. She died on Dec. 13, 1882 in Akron and her father is listed as John Taylor. She is buried there under he maiden name in Glendale Cemetery.
